[시사뷰타임즈] 후리갓 (라셔어 Фрегат, 영어 frigate) 은 1990년대에 NPO 라보츠킨이 개발한 우주선을 제2차 단계로 더욱 멀리 보내게 하는 2차 추진체를 말한다. 소유즈, 제니트 등 일부 발사체에서 사용됐지만, 보편적이며 중거리 및 장거리 발사차량으로도 쓰일 수 있다. 후레갓은 2000년2월에 운용 준비가 갖춰졌다.
이 발사체의 액체 추진체 엔진은 UDMH과 N2O4을 사용한다. 후레갓의 상공율은 97.8% (발사 93번 중 2번 실패) 이며, 이러한 상황이 세계에서 가장 신뢰할 만한 2차 추진체 중 하나로 만들어 준다. 후레갓은 서로 다른 궤도 속으로 300회 이상 짐들을 실어보냈다. 이 발사체는 자체에 실려있는 짐을 3개 또는 그 이상의 궤도로 보낼 수 세계 유일한 것으로 남아 있다.
